Experience an intimate exploration of the rich history and cultural significance of quilting. From her early beginnings as a young girl, sewing as a necessity and a source of storytelling, to her journey into the world of quilting, Renee will share personal anecdotes, historical insights, and the enduring power of tradition. Discover the intricate details of quilt-making techniques, the symbolism woven into patterns, and the stories embedded within each stitch. This program is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
